well it took me longer then expected, but i finally bought that Nikon D2X!


it took longer mostly because i was still doubting, it's a lot of money... money i could spend in many different ways... all good ways... + i almost lost my main income but that's solved so i just went and got it

and what a difference! just a few tryouts and comparisons and the quality is sooo amazing that i now know i made the right decision. i barely touched my D70 since februari but now i can't wait to go out and shoot with this baby! a lot of new options and settings to try out, tuesday the first shoot of this year, this weekend the second... yup, inspiration is back! must admit, knowing i have the now second best (since the D3 got just released) camera Nikon made does give me more confidence in a way...

on other news, it's a time for change. a lot of change. is it because i got 30 or what i don't know, but i'm changing in many different ways. the strangest thing is that i'm kinda forcing that change upon myself and it seems to work. slowly, but it's working. the best change is that now i'm in a state of mind to work work work a lot to save and although i couldn't keep a job for too long nor could see myself working overtime a lot, that seems to be all i'm doing these days. days of 11-12hrs, 5/7 and ok, at some points in the day it starts bothering me but i still can do it. because of the benefits. i have goals. well i used to have goals before but they weren't forcing some disciplin on me to reach them. that's also changing. + i could never save too well and these days i have no problem with that. there's a lot more but also more personal and right now i don't feel like talking about them... let's just keep it at it's changing for the good

also thinking about picking up some studies again, to become a teacher. always liked to be one. don't know what courses but teaching german and/or history are definately an option since they were my favorite courses and know the most about those subjects, but also here in highschool you have these courses that teach morals, ethics etc... i think i would be at my best in that. at least that's very usefull. i'd be a cool teacher i think you know, the 'tattood teacher' with alot of authority but openminded and insightful to problems, with zero tolerance for bad behaviour and bullying
